|

Joseph D. Renick
Executive Director |
The Intelligent Design Network of New Mexico (IDnet-NM) was established in July 2002 as a Division of Intelligent Design network, inc, (IDnet) of Kansas. IDnet-NM operates under the supervision of its Manager, Joseph D. Renick of Albuquerque, NM and an Advisory Board.
The New Mexico operation is essentially autonomous and enjoys a cooperative agreement for the exchange of information with IDnet, inc. and other state Divisions.
The purposes of IDnet-NM are to promote unbiased evidence-based science education with respect to the teaching of cosmological and biological origins; enhance public awareness of the evidence of intelligent design in the cosmos and in living things; and to inform the public of the underlying philosophical, religious, scientific, and legal issues surrounding the teaching of origins science in public schools.
IDnet-NM provides informed speakers for presentations and lectures on Intelligent Design and objective origins science education to public and private school science classes, churches, parent groups, and various civic, professional, and community groups.
IDnet-NM membership is composed of New Mexico residents. From the membership a group of individuals with academic and professional experience in the physical sciences, life sciences, medicine, engineering, mathematics, philosophy, education, and law are appointed to the IDnet-NM Advisory Board to provide a credentialed intellectual foundation for development of IDnet-NM’s positions, presentations, publications, and media releases.
